ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
At Berryville, met up with the Rev. Dwight Brown of Grace Episcopal Church - and met members from Grace and St. Mary's with a nice reception. Mrs. Loudermilk , retired houseparent at Boys' Home, was sick and could not make the trip. However, Earl Cutlip of Bath County was kind enough to take me to her. Did see Pat and Michael Piland from Bowling Green. Thank you for such a good Sunday welcome!

DONNIE’S JOURNAL
Friday, June 24 - we left campus early afternoon. Mr. Ross, Daniel, Derrick, Dylan and Jeremy were the additional walkers. Hot temps expected this weekend. Met up with The Rev. David Robayo, Christ Church, Luray. Finished up Skyline Drive - saw a black bear and cub. We were joined at the entrance to Skyline Drive by the Front Royal mayor Jim Eastham and his wife Denise, board president Frank Baxter, board member Bill Beene along with Skip Bowling, Bruce Weichmann, Kevin Seabrooke, (Warrenton Sentinel) and Kyle Schmidt on our walk into town as well as Northern Virginia Daily media. Boys were treated to a pool party by Laura Denny and cook-out hosted by Laura, Pat Weichmann and Alice Shank and attended by church members. Overnight hosts were the Weichmanns, Libby and Joan Harding, and Bill and Betty Beene. The over-all coordinator was Linda Allen. Attended church on Sunday at Calvary Episcopal Church at both 8 and 10 am services. Jeremy delighted all at the 10 o'clock service by concluding with his own vocal version of the Boys' Home theme song. Headed on to Berryville.
