DONNIE’S JOURNAL
Sunday: Everyone woke up in good moods. Mary and Marshall Edmonds joined us as we went to Arnold’s Diner for breakfast. Marjie Moore, the general manager, and Jerry Robertson also were part of the breakfast group. After a nice breakfast we attended church at All Saints’ in South Hill. The Rev. Shawn Griffith blessed us with Traveler’s Prayer as we left. Slight error in communication as the van headed east on Route 58, and the walkers are on west 58! Attended a picnic gathering hosted by Trinity, South Boston and St. John's, Halifax - saw good friends and former trustees, Judge and Nancy McCormick and also Clarke and Ellen Gray Hogan.
