Attended a Memorial Day picnic hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Allen Fuller, Jr. It is very gratifying to find folks like the Fullers and others across the state to welcome us and take care of us. Thank you.
DONNIE’S JOURNAL
Saturday - Up bright and early. Heading to South Hill. While walking on Route 1, we received a donation from a passing car. Hardee’s in South Hill was our lunch stop. Rain started in the afternoon but will try to keep going. Passed Trinity, St. Mark’s in the country. The rain is drizzling and getting pretty steamy while walking. Reggie continues to be the comic. Solomon, Reggie and Donnie Costigan walked a long stretch. The local South Hill Moose Lodge took care of lodging and supper of hot dogs and hamburgers. We were all hungry! We plan to attend church in South Hill tomorrow morning.
