DONNIE’S JOURNAL
Donnie and the boys left Boys' Home Friday afternoon, April 22, after Chaplain Connie Jackson led the Blessing service in the Chapel. Donnie is accompanied by Solomon, Eskinder, Reggie, Travis, Chad, Laura and AmyRae on this portion of the walk. Solomon, Eskinder, Reggie, Travis and Chad are members of the Virginia National Guard. Laura attends Liberty University and AmyRae is the training coordinator at Boys' Home. Look for the Walk Across Virginia van in your area. Sgt. Riddle and Pvt. Louis Pendleton of the Virginia National Guard joined the walk during the afternoon.
