Spiritual Life

The Spiritual Life Program continues to be one of the four cornerstones that define the Boys’ Home mission.  We are an outreach of the Episcopal Church and believe that religion helps shape all aspects of a person’s life. Our spiritual life program encompasses all religions and each student is encouraged to seek and practice his own beliefs.

At our heart is a mission to help each boy strive to develop his spiritual, mental, physical and social potential. Ultimately, he will become a healthy, productive and giving member of society. It is a big challenge to accept, but it’s one we’ve been successful in accomplishing at Boys’ Home.

The Bishop Jett Fund

The Bishop Jett Fund was named in honor of the first Bishop on the Boys’ Home Board of Trustees. The Fund was established to meet the expenses of the religious life program of Boys’ Home and has a goal of $2 million.

This Fund will help finance the Religious Life staff position. Additionally, the fund will provide for the maintenance and upkeep of All Saints’ Chapel on our campus and support activities in our Religious Life Program. These activities include worship resources, religious education materials, church camps and conferences, Boys’ Home Singers, youth group activities and religious awards for Boy Scout Troop #66.

A beautiful Tree of Life has been placed in the lobby of the Administration Building at Boys' Home.  This solid oak tree provides a way to recognize the generous donors who support the Bishop Jett Fund at Boys’ Home.
