even saving spare pennies, dimes, quarters or even dollars, adds up.

together. So count your blessings and your pennies and change a life.

Original Christmas Cards... A Great Gift Idea!
We are offering special Christmas greeting cards drawn by Ermias of
Darling Cottage. When printed, the original artwork is in full color.
A Boys’ Home Christmas card is a wonderful way to honor someone
special or memorialize a loved one. With each $10 (minimum), one
Christmas card with envelope will be mailed to you to personalize and
give when you wish. The inside of the card reads, "This Holiday season,
a gift to Boys’ Home has been made in your honor."
Memorial cards are also available.
This is a good "gift" for everyone on your list!

Planned Giving
If you are looking for a way to increase your cash flow, have the
security of guaranteed payments and would like to save on taxes, then a
charitable gift annuity may be just right for you.
With declining interest rates in certificates of deposits and
savings, it might be a good time to check into funding a charitable gift
annuity that benefits both you and a favorite charity. (Boys’ Home)
In today’s world, sometimes it is comforting to be able to count on
fixed payments which are not affected by interest rates and stock
prices.
If any of these scenarios echo your feelings, then contact Janet
Lemmer at 540/965-7715 for a discussion about charitable gift annuities.
Charitable gift annuities can be based a single life or two life and
income from the annuity can be paid immediately or can be deferred until
a later time.
You also will have the satisfaction of knowing that the gift portion
of your annuity will benefit Boys’ Home.
Contact your financial or legal advisor before making any
financial decisions.
The Bishop Jett Fund
The Bishop Jett Fund was named in honor of the first Bishop on the
Boys’ Home Board of Trustees. It has been established to meet the
expenses of the religious life program of Boys’ Home. A goal of $1
million is being sought for this Fund.
The Religious Life Program continues to be one of the four
cornerstones that define the Boys’ Home mission. We are an outreach of
the Episcopal Church and believe that religion helps shape all aspects
of a person's life.
This Fund helps finance the Spiritual Life staff position.
Additionally, the fund provides for the maintenance and upkeep of All
Saints' Chapel on our campus.
The Fund helps support activities in our Spiritual Life Program:
worship resources, religious education materials, church camps and
conferences, Boys' Home Singers, youth group activities and religious
awards for Boy Scout Troop # 66.
A beautiful Tree of Life has been placed in the lobby of the
Administration Building at Boys' Home. This solid oak tree provides a
way to recognize the generous donors who support the Bishop Jett Fund at
Boys' Home.
Since its founding in 1906 by the Rev. G. Floyd Rogers, thousands of
boys' lives have been changed. At our heart is a mission to help each
boy strive to develop his spiritual, mental, physical and social
potentials. Thereby, ultimately becoming a healthy, productive and
giving member of society. It is a big challenge to accept, but it's one
we've been successful in accomplishing at Boys' Home.
